Alix Narcisse: The Former CEO of OGT Mobile
Alix Narcisse is a technology entrepreneur who previously served as the CEO of OGT Mobile, a company that attempted to introduce an Android tablet called the Eros in 2011.1 The Eros tablet was touted as the world's thinnest Android tablet at just 7mm thick, with impressive specifications for the time including a 1GHz processor, 7-inch screen with 188 ppi resolution, 3G/WiFi connectivity, and 16 or 32GB of storage.1
However, OGT Mobile faced numerous challenges in bringing the Eros tablet to market, including financial difficulties, dissatisfaction with available Android versions, and the fast-paced nature of the tablet market.1 As a result, the Eros tablet never materialized, despite generating some buzz with its announcement.1
In an open letter to supporters, Narcisse explained the reasons behind the cancellation of the Eros project, acknowledging that while the hardware was impressive, the software capabilities at the time were not sufficient.1 He expressed regret at not being able to deliver the tablet to customers, while hinting at future plans and stating that OGT Mobile was far from finished.1
After his tenure at OGT Mobile, Narcisse went on to create the world's thinnest and smartest wallet, demonstrating his continued passion for innovative and practical products. He is also listed as the CEO of OG Technology Solutions LLC, a company based in Miami, Florida.2
Despite the challenges faced by OGT Mobile, Narcisse's entrepreneurial spirit and drive for innovation have continued to shape his career path in the technology industry.
