Alistair Grant is a musicologist, audiophile, and discophile. He's also a vintage vinyl record dealer based in Dundee, Scotland, and El Paso, Texas, USA. After retiring from his corporate life as a senior executive with 30 years of experience in global procurement and supply chain at UK Board, European and global levels, Grant now focuses on his interests in music and vinyl records. Before contributing to the music industry, Grant earned a BA in social sciences, an MBA in finance, marketing, and operations management, and an executive leadership program from the University of Edinburgh, Harvard Business School, and Northumbria University, respectively.
Grant is the owner of Radical Independent Music Limited and has been an equity punk at BrewDog, the head of UK procurement at the HEINEKEN Company, the director of global category management in renewables, and the divisional supply chain director at Carillion. Moreover, Grant is the former group procurement director at EAGA PLC, director of supply chain management in Europe at Jabil, global corporate purchasing director in electronics and electricals at Electrolux, and owner and managing director at Supply Chain Management Resources Limited. Grant's extensive experience has allowed him to be an expert in the procurement, supply chain, and technology industries.
