Alison Freeland

Alison Freeland is a highly accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in healthcare and medical education. She currently serves as the VP of Education, Academic Affairs and Patient Experience at Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga, Ontario. Additionally, she holds the role of Associate Dean of Education (Regional) at the University of Toronto's medical education campus in Mississauga and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at U of T.

Alison Freeland has a strong educational background, having completed her FRCPC in Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of Ottawa and her MD in Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.

Throughout her career, Alison has been actively involved in various organizations and leadership roles. She has served as the Vice President of Education, Academic Affairs and Patient Experience at Trillium Health Partners and has held positions such as Vice President of Education, Associate Dean of Education, and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Additionally, she has contributed as the Past President of the Ontario Psychiatric Association and the Chair of the Professional Standards and Practice Committee at the Canadian Psychiatric Association.

Alison Freeland's professional journey also includes roles such as President of the Ontario Psychiatric Association, Associate Chief of Psychiatry at Royal Ottawa Health Care Group, and Psychiatrist at The Royal's Community Mental Health Program.
