Alisa Mall

Alisa Mall serves as the Chief Investment Officer at DFO Management, LLC, which is the family office for Dell Technologies. She joined DFO in 2022, transitioning from her role as Managing Director of Corporate Strategy at Foresite Capital, a firm focused on life sciences and biotechnology. In that capacity, she managed corporate development, long-term capital strategy, investor relations, human resources, and ESG engagement.12

Before her time at Foresite, Alisa spent nearly 12 years at the Carnegie Corporation of New York, where she was a senior member of the investment team. Her responsibilities included managing portfolios in real estate and natural resources, as well as strategies linked to absolute returns and inflation.13 Earlier in her career, she worked as a director in the Equity Capital Markets group at Tishman Speyer and practiced law at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, specializing in real estate and finance.24

Alisa holds a B.A. in Political Science, graduating magna cum laude from Yale College, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School.12 She is also active in various boards and committees; she chairs the Compensation Committee for JBG Smith Properties and serves on the investment committees for both the UJA-Federation of New York and the Jim Joseph Foundation.13
