Alina Uspenskaya is a dedicated advocate for making arts more accessible to children in need, leveraging her passion for arts to create positive impacts in their lives.
In 2015, Alina founded the ArtSocial Foundation with the goal of providing arts and creative therapies to children facing challenges such as special education needs, disabilities, long-term illnesses, and mental health issues.
Through collaborations with experts in the UK and Russia, the ArtSocial Foundation funds and initiates art-based projects to empower and improve the well-being of children and youth at risk of exclusion.
Moreover, the Foundation invests in the professional growth of art therapists to ensure sustainable and lasting benefits for the communities they serve.
Alina Uspenskaya also established the ArtSocial Patron's Club, a non-profit members club uniting individuals passionate about arts, culture, and philanthropy to support the Foundation's charitable endeavors.
Profits generated by the Patron's Club are channeled back into funding the impactful activities of the ArtSocial Foundation, fostering a community of change-makers dedicated to making a difference.
Alina's educational background encompasses a Master's degree in Grantmaking, Philanthropy, and Social Investment from Cass Business School, a Diploma with distinction in the History of European art from Christie's Education, and a BA in Russian Law with a focus on common law from the University of the Russian Academy of Education.
Additionally, she has pursued studies in English Language and Literature at Bond University and English Philology at Cherepovets State University.
Alina Uspenskaya has held various roles in esteemed organizations, serving as the Founder and Director of the ArtSocial Foundation, and gaining valuable experience as an Intern at the Impressionism & Modern Art department at Sotheby's, as well as at the Russian Art and Old Master Paintings departments at Christie's.
