Alina Guna is a biochemist and membrane biologist who has made significant contributions to the field of protein biogenesis and membrane biology. She completed her PhD at the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, supported by a Gates-Cambridge fellowship.2 As a postdoctoral researcher, Dr. Guna has been working jointly between the Voorhees lab at Caltech and the Weissman lab at MIT and the Whitehead Institute since 2018.2 Her postdoctoral work was supported by an independent fellowship from the Human Frontier Science Program.2
