Alin Mechenici

Alin Mechenici is a seasoned professional who excels in building secure platforms, strong teams, and fostering positive work cultures. He is the Founder of CHENIST Cybersecurity and has a rich history of bootstrapping two NGOs and three companies across two countries. Alin has collaborated with prestigious entities like NASA, Mjardevi Science Park, and has also worked extensively with SMEs and NGOs.

Alin Mechenici's expertise lies in configuration management and hardening of Unix servers to create secure, reliable, declarative, and reproducible systems. He is adept at preserving privacy and anonymity of key stakeholders and employees and implementing security by design principles for data at rest and data in motion. His skills also encompass Identity and Access Management, Device Management, Data Loss Prevention, Digital Risk Management, as well as Cyber Hygiene and Awareness.

Alin Mechenici pursued his education at the University of Craiova and obtained a Bachelor's degree from Scoala Nationala de Studii Politice si Administrative (SNSPA). Apart from his current role at CHENIST Cybersecurity, he has founded Highway to Business and PR Patrat in the past.
