Alin Irimie

Alin Irimie is a distinguished figure in the cybersecurity industry with over 20 years of experience, specializing in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, agile software development, and patent and intellectual property initiatives.

Alin's journey in the technology realm led him to be a pivotal figure at KnowBe4, a renowned cybersecurity company, where he played an integral role as a founding member and Chief Technology Officer, contributing to the company's growth and successful IPO in 2021, establishing it as a multi-billion dollar valued enterprise.

He completed his bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Automation from Polytechnic University of Timisoara, Romania, before embarking on a career that involved spearheading the development of antispam, antivirus, sandbox technologies, and other cutting-edge security solutions.

Alin's dedication to the cybersecurity domain extends beyond corporate ventures as he has been actively involved as a Member of the Board of the Cybersecurity Task Force of the Romanian American Chamber of Commerce – DC Chapter since 2020, focusing on fortifying and fostering the US-Romanian partnership in cybersecurity.
