Alice Chen is the National Director of Leadership Development & Stretch@KP at Kaiser Permanente, a position she has held since February 2021. In this role, she is responsible for building internal organizational and leadership capabilities, leading cross-functional teams, and developing strategies for leadership development across the organization. Prior to her current role, she served as the National Director of Leadership Development from August 2015 to February 2021, where she led the National Center of Excellence for leadership development and succession management at Kaiser Permanente.1
Her career at Kaiser Permanente began in 2005, and she has held various positions, including Director of Diversity Programs and Learning & Organization Effectiveness, where she designed and implemented leadership and diversity initiatives. Alice Chen holds an M.D. from Albany Medical College and an MBA in Strategy from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. She also completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School.1
