Alia Shabazz is a seasoned human capital professional who has held multiple positions in both the public and private sectors. Alia has developed substantive expertise in enhancing employee engagement, talent management, professional development, change management, employee relations, and workforce/succession planning.

Alia holds a Master's Degree in Human Resource Development as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She has worked in different capacities, including Branch Chief at USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Training and Career Development Officer at Economic Research Service, Senior Program Advisor at U.S. Department of Health and Human Services/Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals and Workforce and Career Development Officer at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, among others. In these various capacities, she has had the opportunity to work closely with executives to improve talent acquisition, skills development, job satisfaction and employee retention.
