Ali Irawan

Ali Irawan is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in teaching programming and software development. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering APAC at Flash Coffee, Ali leads a diverse team in building tech solutions to drive business growth, facilitate new market expansion, and streamline operations. He is dedicated to nurturing talent, fostering a growth mindset, and adhering to structured processes to achieve success.

Before joining Flash Coffee, Ali Irawan played a pivotal role at Grosenia, a B2B marketplace incubated by Rocket Internet, where he served as the CTO and co-founder. He spearheaded the company's inception, oversaw the development of minimum viable products (MVPs), and continuously refined products and services to benefit sellers and buyers alike.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Ali is an avid coder and trainer, often found engrossed in coding projects while enjoying a cup of coffee. He also enjoys connecting with new people over a shared love for coffee. Ali's technical expertise encompasses a wide array of languages and platforms including Java, Spring, Go, PHP, Laravel, Postgres, AWS, GCP, NodeJs, Javascript, Typescript, Flutter, React Native, and Android.

Ali Irawan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitas Bina Nusantara, where he excelled academically with a GPA of 3.85 out of 4. His professional journey includes key roles such as Co-Founder, CTO, Technology Advisor, Software Architect, and various training positions in notable organizations like Flash Coffee, Grosenia, Solusi Teknologi Sejati, and more. His passion for combining technology with coffee-centric innovations shines through in his work and interactions.
