Alexis MacDonald

Alexis MacDonald is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience working with senior executives in both large and small companies. With a Master of Human Resources Management degree from York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from the University of Alberta, Alexis has built her career in the HR field, driving culture and performance through connection, empathy, and curiosity.

Over the years, Alexis has worked on and built learning and development programs, engagement initiatives, performance structures, recruitment and retention strategies, compensation philosophy, policy, process & procedure, employer brand, and more. Her expertise ranges from HR management to talent acquisition, employee engagement, and development.

Alexis spent several years at CBC/Radio-Canada, where she served as Senior HR Manager and Senior HR Business Partner. She also worked as HR Vice President at Cardinal Couriers before joining Loopio, where she currently serves as VP of People.

Alexis is passionate about her work and loves to watch and enable teams and people to do their best work. She has a great sense of humor that aids her relationship building with employees, managers, and senior executives.
