Throughout his career, Alexandre has held several pivotal roles that have shaped his professional trajectory. Notably, he serves as the Business Development & Sales Director - Urban at TRACTEBEL, part of the ENGIE GROUP. In this capacity, he is instrumental in driving business strategies that align with sustainable city development initiatives. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Business Development & Sales for sustainable cities and transport at the same organization, where he played a crucial role in promoting sustainable mobility solutions.
Before joining TRACTEBEL, Alexandre contributed as a Business Development Manager and Resident Manager at BESIX, demonstrating his ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively in challenging environments. His career started as a Project Manager, ultimately transitioning from a Site Engineer to a Technical Manager, which provided him with pivotal insights into project execution and team leadership. His first foray into the engineering field was as a Structural Engineer trainee at SGI ingénierie, establishing a strong technical foundation for his future endeavors.
Education and Achievements
Alexandre's educational journey reflects his dedication to building a robust skill set in management and engineering. He earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Great Distinction from the prestigious Vlerick Business School, an experience that equipped him with advanced business strategies and leadership capabilities.
Additionally, Alexandre holds two Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering, both achieved with Great Distinction. His studies in Civil Engineering were pursued at the Haute École 'Léonard de Vinci' in Brussels and the De Nayer Instituut Sint Katelijne Waver, underpinning his technical expertise.
Continuing his commitment to lifelong learning, Alexandre completed a Custom Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of California, Berkeley, which honed his ability to foster innovative business solutions.
