Alexandre Rezende

Alexandre Rezende is an accomplished biologist, researcher, and educator. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, as well as a Master's and Doctorate in Morphophysiology of the Nervous System from the University of Campinas. He has an extensive background in neurobiology, specifically in the area of neuroregeneration in neurodegenerative diseases and neurotrauma. For over 20 years, he has worked as a Science and Biology teacher at different levels of education, from elementary to graduate level. Currently, he is a professor of Neuroscience applied to Education at PUC-Campinas and the Brazilian Institute of Educator's Training (IBFE), as well as Neuromarketing at INOVA Business School. He is also the coordinator of the Postgraduate course in Active Methodologies in São Paulo and surrounding regions at IBFE. As a highly-respected academic figure, he gives annual talks, conferences, and workshops about Neuroscience and Education to schools, universities, congresses, and companies. Additionally, he is the responsible professor for different extension courses such as Mente, Cérebro e Envelhecimento and Neurociência e Qualidade de Vida at the PUC-Campinas's University for the Third Age, and the Neurobiology of Learning at PUC-Campinas's extension program. Overall, Alexandre Rezende has significant experience in biomedical research and educational settings.
