    Alexandre Kossoy is a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of experience in climate policy and finance, environment, and agribusiness. He has been a valuable member of the World Bank Group since 2002, actively participating in high-level political dialogues on climate policy and finance. Alexandre is a key figure in designing and executing various climate finance initiatives in the Latin America Region (LACC). He has played a significant role in producing the World Bank's flagship report on carbon pricing for several years. Recently, Alexandre has been focusing on financial solutions for government clients in LACC at the World Bank, while also leading government advisory and stakeholder engagement in the PMR – Partnership for Market Readiness Program in Brazil. Prior to his tenure at the World Bank, Alexandre gained diverse experience in the private sector with renowned organizations such as Rabobank, Aracruz Celulose, PepsiCo, and Monsanto. He is academically equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil) and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the Israel Institute of Technology (Israel).
