Alexandra Laplante

Alexandra Laplante is a French/American European Law graduate with a keen interest in European Law, Business & Law, and European Corporate Finance Law. Currently pursuing an LL.M. in Corporate & Commercial Law at Maastricht University, set to graduate in 2022.

Alexandra's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws in European Law and a European Corporate Finance Law Honours degree from Maastricht University. She also completed a Year Abroad in International Relations and Politics at The Australian National University and holds a BA in International Relations and Politics from The University of Sheffield.

Additionally, Alexandra Laplante has a French Baccalaureate with a specialization in Life and Earth Sciences, earning the highest honors (Mention Très Bien), from Vauban, Ecole et Lycée Français de Luxembourg.

With a diverse organizational experience, Alexandra has served as a Legal Research Intern at M-EPLI (Maastricht European Private Law Institute), a Legal Trainee at Stibbe, and held positions such as President at ELSA Maastricht, Policy Administration Assistant at La Mondiale Europartner, and Editor at EMaas Law Review at ELSA Maastricht, among others.

Her areas of interest encompass international and European politics & policymaking, corporate law, competition law, investment law, law & finance, law & ESG, and criminal financial law, reflecting a broad and versatile expertise in the legal field.
