Alexandra Kazakova is an experienced professional in the world of Russian innovation. Her journey began in the early 2010s when she became fascinated by the prospect of innovation in Russia. As soon as 2011, she started working as a project manager at Startobaza private equity fund. Her focus was on launching, incubating and developing startups of pre-seed stage. During that time, she worked on about 10 projects which received financial support from government institutions and programs such as Ministry of Economic Development of Tatarstan, Skolkovo Innovation Center, Web-ready program, Business of Innovation Technologies program, Innovate Russia program among others. Alexandra has credited her success by enjoying everything she does and working together with her team.

Alexandra Kazakova studied Political Science and Government at Kazan State University. Her work experience includes roles as the Head of Marketing and Communications at Avtodoria, Associate at FormulaVC, a venture fund.
