Head Outdoor Track Coach

Coordinated participant recruitment and registration, bringing in new and returning participants to the program. Managed incoming leads to the program, reaching out to interested individuals and outlining the highlights of the program to recruit them to register. 

Served as a fundraising mentor to all participants on assigned teams, serving as a resource for all of their questions related to the program and fundraising. Oversaw group trainings to help unite the teams and offer additional support.

Facilitated marketing aspects of the program, reaching out to community partners and local businesses across the state of Rhode Island to help grow the Team In Training program. Managed Team In Training's Facebook, Twitter, blog, and e-newsletters, helping keep the TNT network connected via the web. Coordinated and lead social and informational events to further recruit participants to the program, and to acknowledge the accomplishments of current and past participants.

Financially tracked and assessed participant fundraising, providing support and assistance to participants. Assisted TNT in reaching and exceeding the budget for teams, including the Disney World Marathon Team and the Nike Women's Half Marathon Team. I coordinated the trip details for national events, including flights, hotel, and race registrations.

Team In Training Campaign Coordinator

Assisted the Coordinator and Manager with recruitment calls, donation requests, and emails. 

Collaborated with the other staff members to create new grassroots marketing themes for the upcoming seasons and staffed summer races to help promote TNT to general public.

Team In Training Intern

Served as an ambassador to the University, leading prospective students and parents through a detailed campus tour, marketing UConn to potential candidates for admission. 

Delivered 35-minute PowerPoint presentations to groups of 30-50 prospective students and parents prior to leading groups on 1 hour and 30 minute guided campus tour. Fielded questions on all aspects of the University and presented campus life based on extensive knowledge of UConn and also based on personal experiences.
