Alexandra Christy is a driven and accomplished journalist, writer, organizer, activist, bird-dog, networker, strategist, and digital storyteller with an impressive background in the not-for-profit sector. She has worked both sides of the check, raising funds for nonprofits, and giving them away for foundations. Alexandra earned a Master's Degree in Digital Journalism and Design from the University of South Florida, and has been using her skills to undertake digital storytelling and fundraising projects for a variety of nonprofits in the social impact sector. She is a specialist in shaping a vision into work that truly matters, communicating a vision from one group to another, networking to the most effective people, and searching out funding opportunities. Alexandra’s professional experiences include being a former Executive Director of Woodcock Foundation, a former Senior Program Officer at Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, a former Development/Membership Director at The Green Guerillas, and founder and director of Project Work.
