Alexander Tyagulsky

Alexander Tyagulsky is one of the co-founders and the current Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Readdle, a Ukrainian mobile application development company known for its productivity apps.13

Background and Education

Tyagulsky studied at Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University from 2001 to 2007.4 He was one of three young graduate friends, along with Igor Zhadanov and Andrian Budantsov, who founded Readdle in 2007.1

Role in Readdle's Founding

In the early days of Readdle, Tyagulsky was responsible for product design.1 He and his co-founders saw an opportunity to create apps for the newly released iPhone, starting with a document file reader called ReaddleDocs (later renamed to Documents).13 Their motivation came from the frustration that they couldn't read books on the iPhone the same way they could on a Nokia phone.1
