Alexander Thiel is a seasoned banking professional with over 24 years of experience in corporate debt origination, structuring, and execution, risk analysis, business development, and client relationship management. He has developed expertise in financing solutions and optimal capital structures for capital-intensive industries, such as commodity, infrastructure, power and energy, oil and gas, and transportation sectors in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Northern Africa. Alexander is currently serving as Senior Partner at Arbour Partners and is a co-founder of Scandinavian Capital Partners, an independent corporate debt sourcing, debt advisory, lending, and debt portfolio management firm. He has previously held roles as Managing Director at WestLB, Head of Export Finance at SEB Merchant Banking, and Vice President & Area Manager for Latin America at SEB Merchant Banking, among others.
