Alexander Smal holds an M.Sc. in Applicable Mathematics and Informatics from ITMO University. He has a diverse professional background, ranging from research roles to teaching and software development. Alexander has worked as a Junior Researcher at the Steklov Institute of Mathematics in St. Petersburg. Prior to that, he held teaching positions at various institutions including Университет ИТМО, Computer Science Center, Charles University in Prague, St. Petersburg Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and AMSE. Alexander also has industry experience, having worked as a research intern at Microsoft and as a senior C++ developer at Transas. His passion for education is evident as he has also been a math teacher at St. Petersburg's City Palace of Young People Creativity.
