Alexander Griekspoor is a Dutch independent software developer, investor, and entrepreneur based in Lisbon, Portugal. He holds a PhD in Cell Biology from The Netherlands Cancer Institute and has a background in scientific research. Alexander is well-known for his work as part of the duo 'Mekentosj' where he developed award-winning Mac applications. His notable creation is the Papers app, which received multiple Apple Design Awards. After selling his company to SpringerNature, he focused on developing the Agenda app, a date-focused note-taking application, which also secured an Apple Design Award.
