Alexander Dickson is an experienced professional in Government Relations and Communication Strategy with a passion for policy.

With five years of experience as an Advisor, Alexander specializes in policy, communications, social media management, and stakeholder engagement, particularly in innovation, industry development, and technology policy across various sectors such as tourism, international education, infrastructure, and trade.

His skill set includes stakeholder engagement, speechwriting, policy analysis and advice, government relations, media and communications, and communication strategy, backed by his experience and qualifications in government.

Alexander Dickson holds a Bachelor of Government and International Relations with a focus on Policy & Government Relations from Griffith University, along with completion of the GUESTS Program in Introduction to Politics.

He has held key positions such as Policy Advisor to the Minister for Tourism, Innovation & Sport, and Minister Assisting on the Olympics at the Queensland Government, showcasing his expertise and involvement in diverse policy areas.

Additionally, Alexander has served in various roles including Member on the Youth Advisory Council at the U.S. Department of State, Communications Advisor to the Office of the Premier of Queensland & Minister for Trade, and Assistant Policy Advisor to the Minister for Innovation, Tourism Industry Development & Cross River Rail at the Queensland Government.

His professional journey also includes roles as an Administration Officer to the Minister for Education, Tourism, Major Events & Commonwealth Games at the Queensland Government, Student Placement at Trade and Investment Queensland, Delegate at Harvard World Model United Nations, and Vice President at Griffith University Gold Coast's United Nations Student Association, reflecting his active involvement in the academic and international spheres of policy and diplomacy.

Prior to these roles, Alexander showcased his leadership skills as a Student Leader at Griffith University's Business School.
