With a strong educational background, Alexander pursued a Master of Philosophy in Industrial Systems, Manufacture & Management from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol. He further honed his skills by studying Influence and Negotiation Strategies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Product Management at General Assembly, and Self Expression and Leadership Programme at Landmark.

Throughout his career, Alexander Appelbe held various significant roles in reputable organizations. He co-founded Metis Labs and served as the CEO, participated in the EF8 Cohort at Entrepreneur First, and undertook leadership positions at GKN 10x and GKN Aerospace. His roles included Head of projects, Gyrodrive Programme Manager, Program Manager, Production Supervisor, and Process Improvement among others.
