Alexa Swift is a highly educated individual with a diverse academic background. She studied JD in Law at The University of British Columbia, BAH in International Development at Dalhousie University, and BA in Contemporary Studies at the University of King's College.

Alexa Swift has demonstrated her expertise and commitment to various organizations throughout her career. She currently serves as the Team Lead and Senior Advisor of Cash and Early Market Recovery at Mercy Corps. Previously, she held positions such as Early Economic Recovery Advisor, Regional Economic Opportunities Advisor in response to Syria, Program Quality and Development Officer, Deputy Program Manager, and Program Officer at Adeso. Furthermore, she has valuable experience as a Legal Research Assistant and M&E Officer at the Children's Legal Action Network, a Policy Officer at the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists in BC, and a Program Officer at the Global Conscience Initiative.
