Alex Wu

Alex Wu is an accomplished business professional with a diverse background in marketing, management, and government. Wu attended the National Experimental High School Bilingual Department during his formative years, followed by the University of Virginia, where he studied Business, Marketing, and Management. Later, he earned certification from Georgetown University, which expanded his education even further.

Over the years, Wu has held a variety of positions with different organizations. He was an Undergraduate Assistant and International UVA Ambassador during his studies, followed by a Campaign Coordinator at MarketBridge soon thereafter. Wu honed his marketing and management skills at Facebook, where he held four different positions during his tenure. After leaving Facebook, Wu went on to serve as Vice President of Growth at Newsela and later as Head of Product Marketing Communications and Partnerships for Quora.

Following his time at Quora, Wu was appointed Venture Partner at SparkLabs, a globally recognized accelerator program for new and exciting startups. He went on to become the Founder and Vice President for Strategy, MarComm, and Partnerships at HomeCourt (NEX Team) before serving as Managing Partner at Cavalier Venture Partners.

Besides his professional endeavors, Wu also served as an Advisory Board Member at Teach.org and worked as a Field Organizer during Obama for America's Presidential Campaign. He was also a Debt Capital Markets Summer Analyst at Citigroup and a Legislative Summer Intern at Williams & Jensen earlier in his professional career.
