Alex Wilson is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for energy efficiency and environmental conservation, which stemmed from a young age. This passion drove him to engage in outdoor activities such as rock climbing, cycling, mountaineering, and hiking, culminating in a through hike of the Pacific Crest Trail in 2013.
He pursued further education at Portland State University, specializing in building science, energy efficiency, energy management, and HVAC design. One of his notable achievements was winning first place in ASHRAE's Integrated Systems Building Design competition in 2015 by leading a student design team that devised innovative solutions for a building project in Doha, Qatar.

He has also conducted energy modeling for existing buildings, showcasing significant energy savings for projects at Energy Trust of Oregon. Furthermore, he has excelled in designing HVAC and control systems for buildings, contributing to substantial energy conservation.
Moreover, Alex possesses a comprehensive understanding of design-build construction, leveraging insights from a contractor's perspective to craft designs that are easy to implement and function effectively.
His educational background includes completing a Wind Turbine Technician training program at Northwest Renewable Energy Institute, a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University with a GPA of 3.75, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
