Alex Whitehouse

Alex Whitehouse is a highly experienced management consultant with a background in engineering. He has worked with over 100 organizations in Canada and Asia, offering services in program and service evaluation, project management, business planning and analysis, facilitation, and training. Alex holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and an MBA in Executive Management with Specialization in Management Consulting from Royal Roads University. He is also a designated Project Management Professional (PMP).
Alex has evaluated more than 160 programs and services, using a collaborative approach to improve their efficiency and effectiveness. His project management experience includes managing projects worth over $6 billion cumulatively. He has also helped small and mid-size enterprises evaluate commercial opportunities, expand into new markets, and improve their business processes.
With his dynamic and experienced facilitation skills, Alex has led more than 125 courses, workshops, and focus groups, helping entrepreneurs start their own businesses and executives in major private and public sector organizations. In his previous roles, he has worked as a Facilitator at Pathways Training and eLearning Inc., President at MaisonBlanche Consulting Inc., Manager at MNP, Technical Writer at McKesson Medical Imaging Group, and Technical Writer at Tyco Safety Products.
Alex Whitehouse was born and raised on Vancouver Island, and he has lived in Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver. Apart from his work, Alex is a Habs fan at heart.
