Alex Watt

Alex Watt is a Staff Software Engineer at Shopify, currently based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has been with Shopify since early 2021, initially joining as a Senior Engineer before being promoted to his current role in January 2023.16

Watt graduated Summa Cum Laude from Grove City College, where he studied Computer Engineering from 2014 to 2017.2 Before joining Shopify, he worked at Gecko Robotics, where he held the position of Tech Lead Manager.3
