With a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Science and Engineering from Caltech and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, Alex has a solid educational foundation.

Alex has held various key roles in different organizations, including being the Chief Of Staff at Fifty Years, where he excelled in cross-functional environments by utilizing his scientific first principles and problem-solving skills.

Prior to that, he held positions such as In-nose air filter tester + writer of algorithms! at AVA, Director of Strategy, Process, and Environmental Science; Program Management of Core Technology at Divergent 3D, and Founder at CauseAI.

His experience also includes research roles at Caltech and UC Berkeley, such as Research Assistant in Leadbetter Lab, Graduate Research Assistant in Wennberg Lab, and Research Assistant in Keasling Laboratory.
