Alex Taneda

Alex Taneda is a Constituency Assistant for MLA Andrew Wilkinson and a recent Political Science graduate from the University of British Columbia.

With a background in communications strategies, project management, and outreach, Alex is passionate about empowering young women of colour in politics.

Education-wise, Alex studied Political Science and Asian Studies at UBC and also attended Walnut Grove Secondary School.

Alex has held key roles in various organizations, including being a Constituency Assistant at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, a Leader's Tour Coordinator & Campaign Youth Chair at the BC Liberal Party, and an Operations Assistant at the BC Liberal Party.

Additionally, Alex has gained experience as an Independent Consultant at Wall Financial Corp, a Summer Intern at the BC Liberal Party, a Youth Orchestra Assistant at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and a Corporate Legal Support Assistant and Receptionist at Fleming Olson Taneda and MacDougall.
