Alex Sands
Co-Founder at Plasticity
Alex Sands is a tech entrepreneur and computer science expert who co-founded Plasticity, a company specializing in natural language processing technology.1 He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology in 2017, earning a BSE in Computer Science and a BS in Economics with a focus on Management.2
After graduating, Alex and his co-founder Ajay Patel, whom he met through the M&T program at Penn, were accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2017 batch.1 They moved to San Francisco to participate in YC and launched Plasticity, which developed NLP tools for commercial customers, government organizations, and developers.13

Throughout his career, Alex has lived in various tech hubs, including San Francisco, New York, and currently Austin, Texas.2 He remains passionate about technology and entrepreneurship, continuing to work on Plasticity's mission of making NLP technology accessible and powerful.23
