Alex Salazar is a seasoned venture capitalist with a focus on investing in early-stage startups that aim to create new product categories.

As a Partner at Neotribe Ventures in Menlo Park, California, he specializes in deep technology investments that push the boundaries of innovation.

Prior to his venture capitalist career, Alex founded and led Stormpath, a successful authentication API service for developers that was later acquired by Okta.

During his tenure at Okta, he held various leadership roles including VP/GM of New Products, where he launched and grew a new IT product to $9 million in sales within four quarters.

Educationally, Alex holds a BS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
