Alex Roetter
Alex Roetter, a Stanford University alumnus, is an experienced investor and operator with over a decade of experience in the tech industry. He is currently the Managing Director and General Partner at Moxxie Ventures, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, and has invested in over 50 companies including Coinbase, Digits, and Nuro.
Prior to his role at Moxxie, Roetter served as the President of Kitty Hawk, an electric flying car company where he supervised over 25,000 test flights and trained more than 100 non-pilots to fly their vehicle in under an hour. His experience also includes being the SVP of Engineering at Twitter, where he oversaw the development of the ads network from near zero revenue to $2.5 billion annually, as well as scaling the platform's user base into the hundreds of millions.
Roetter began his professional career at Google, where he spent seven years working on several projects, including the development of the world's largest computational advertising platform. He is a commercial, jet type-rated pilot, and a board member at Growth for Good, a sustainability SPAC.
