Alex Ringelmann

Alex Ringelmann is a professionally registered electronic engineer with a passion for data science. His diverse background includes experience in industrial automation, building information modelling, and electrical infrastructure development. As a professional consulting engineer, Alex has successfully led multi-disciplinary engineering teams, managed construction contracts, and collaborated with clients and contractors, bringing a wealth of insights to his work in data science, machine learning, and software development.

Alex pursued his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering at the University of Pretoria and attended Pretoria Boys High School for his secondary education.

Currently, Alex serves as the Director at AfroCode. Previously, he held the position of Head of Department for Electrical Engineering (Pr Eng) at Delta Built Environment Consultants. He also worked as an Electronic Engineer at Delta Built Environment Consultants, a Project Engineer at ABB Robotics, and began his professional journey as a Student Intern at ABB Robotics.
