Alex Metz

Alex Metz is an experienced nonprofit professional with a solid background in mission-driven organizations, leadership, team building, writing, researching, fund development, and strategic planning.

With a Master's Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University-California State University, Alex also holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature with a concentration in Women's Studies & Environmental Studies from the State University of New York at New Paltz.

In their career, Alex has held various roles including Donor Relations Manager at RepresentUs, Development Director at YMCA of San Diego County, Research Assistant at SDSU Research Foundation, Troop/Member Operations Manager at Girl Scouts San Diego, Outreach Director at Animal Protection and Rescue League, Secretary and Communications Support Intern at Hudson Valley Compassion, and Communications and Event Coordinating Assistant Intern at The International Foodservice Editorial Council.

They bring a wealth of research experience in public policy and social welfare programs, coupled with a strong foundation in project management and organizational operations.
