Alex Manto

Alex Martini-Lo Manto is a prominent figure in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry, renowned for his leadership in large-scale crypto-asset mining ventures in Canada.

As the founder and CEO of the Blockfusion Group, Alex established one of the earliest and most successful Bitcoin mining operations in the country, starting in 2015.

Moreover, he co-founded North East Data LLC, where he currently serves as a managing partner and director. Under his guidance, North East Data has grown to become a major player in Bitcoin mining in the North East region, with numerous sites and thousands of deployed miners, boasting a substantial 50MW of installed power in a single facility.

With a rich background in investing and managing technology-driven ventures spanning more than two decades, Alex is a multilingual professional, fluent in 5 languages.

He pursued his education at prestigious institutions such as Princeton University, focusing on Economic History and engaging in Ph.D. level research and lecturing within the History and Anthropology departments.

Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, Alex is deeply involved in the cryptocurrency community. He founded the New York City Bitcoin MeetUp, a thriving community with over 2,000 active members.
