Alex Lim

Alex Lim is a designer-developer and graphics journalist who uses design, code and data to communicate stories, ideas and information on the web. With a degree in Computer Science and Design from Northeastern University, Alex has worked with a variety of reputable companies including The New York Times, Stuff, Upstatement, Two Six Labs, Liberty Mutual Insurance and Scout Studio. As a former news assistant and Covid-19 Data Acquisition Developer at The New York Times, Alex is experienced in data journalism and is particularly interested in the intersection of tech and journalism. With his diverse range of skills and experience, Alex draws inspiration from print design and physical typesetting, and seeks to innovate digital storytelling in news media.
