- Develop high-volume performing and scalable enterprise distributed systems for Nike.com’s Inventory & Order Management and Supply Chain Management space.• Built high quality software using Java 8, Spring Boot and AWS that is united tested and code reviewed. Apply various system designs such as asynchronous API design, in-memory caching, failovers and graceful degradation.• Launched and scaled Source Aware program from 0% to 100% traffic, now used by millions of consumers globally.• Implemented graceful degradation, disaster recovery, retry-mechanisms and application failovers across all supply chain management systems for greater reliability and availability.• Implemented and executed performance tests using Gatling for Spring Boot microservices to meet Nike’s performance metric of 30 millisecond response time at a load of 1 million requests per minute.• Documented in Confluence for upcoming features such as requirement analysis, high-level diagram design, data model analysis, API documentation, and etc.• Implemented alerting and monitoring across all services using New Relic, SignalFx and Splunk.  • Responsible for rotational 24 hour pager support for inventory services and Nike Sneaker Release Launches.

- Single-handedly created and developed backend architecture and backend services for the client, Beaverton Toyota. The platform is currently used by hundreds of associates everyday and have reduced tremendous amount of inefficiencies in all departments of the dealership.• Created backend services in microservice architecture using Spring Boot, MongoDB and AWS. Developed and documented REST API’s for frontend platform and various services. • Created sales platform for vehicle buying process. Reduced all human inefficiencies by automating data-entry tasks and electronically printing all documents. As a result, average vehicle purchasing time has reduced from typical 3 hours to 30 minutes. • Digitized all types of contracts such as DMV forms, vehicle purchase agreement form and insurance forms to pre-filled PDF documents using Java. The PDF print service alone eliminated hours of hand-written work.• Developed sales analytics tool on sales consultant’s application behavior. All event-triggering action during sales is logged and reviewed with sales managers. Massively increased finance & insurance product penetration rate.• Created an automated payroll system for Beaverton Toyota employees. Eliminated the need for spreadsheet tasks to be completed by office associates. Guaranteed instant and reliable payouts as opposed to weeks of delay. • Developed web scraping system that gathers vehicle inventory data from all dealerships in Oregon. Aggregated and visualized data to inventory managers for competitive edge. • Migrated over 1 million repair orders from excel to MongoDB database. Served up information through platform that wasn't available previously to managers.• Enabled SMS and email notifications throughout all departments using Twilio and AWS SES. Significantly reduced communication inefficiency between employees.
