Formerly a Partner at Lowercarbon Capital, he played a pivotal role in raising and deploying billions into clean energy, agriculture, transportation, climate resilience, and carbon removal.

His expertise spans clean energy infrastructure, climate, water, and energy policy, with a focus on emerging markets across continents like the US, Europe, South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America.

Alex Laplaza holds a Master's degree in International Policy - Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources from Stanford University, and an Honors Bachelor's Degree in International Studies - Global Environmental Policy and Economic Development from American University.
