Alex Lai is an accomplished development professional with a versatile background in business administration, hospitality, and arts. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, two prestigious institutions widely recognized for their academic excellence.

Alex has worked in various development roles at Harvard Law School, Harvard University, and Harvard Business School. As Assistant Director of Donor Engagement at Harvard Law School, he oversees a portfolio of major and principal gift donors, creates and executes engagement strategies, and collaborates across departments to advance fundraising goals. Previously, Alex worked as Assistant Director of Gift Funds Management, Coordinator of Development Operations, and Staff Assistant of Development Operations at Harvard, where he demonstrated his strong analytical and operational skills for gift processing, reporting, and stewardship. Prior to his career in development, Alex gained extensive experience in human resources and quality control at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, and in arts administration and marketing at the Dulwich Picture Gallery and Corcoran Gallery of Art.
