Alex Kronemer
Executive Producer at Unity Productions Foundation
Alexander Kronemer is the co-founder and executive director of Unity Productions Foundation (UPF), a non-profit educational film production company with a mission to promote peace and understanding through media.
Under Mr. Kronemer's leadership, UPF has produced nine award-winning films that have reached over 150 million viewers globally.
He spearheaded a dialogue project around UPF's films, facilitating over 20,000 dialogues involving more than 100,000 individuals, including policymakers, opinion leaders, and cultural influencers.
Collaborating with the Brookings Institution, UPF established Muslims on Screen and Television (MOST), a resource center in Hollywood aimed at enhancing the depiction of Islam and Muslims in media.
Apart from his work at UPF, Mr. Kronemer is an accomplished writer and speaker on religion and Islamic civilization, holding a Master's Degree in Theological Studies from Harvard University.
His previous experience includes serving as a diplomat at the U.S. Department of State, focusing on the Middle East, Human Rights, and Religious Freedom, and contributing to the establishment of the U.S. Institute of Peace through legislative efforts.
