Alex Jiao is a 2x founder-scientist focusing on the commercialization of scientific and technological advances in diagnostics, stem cell biology, and genetic engineering. With a background in Bioengineering at the University of Washington for his Ph.D. and Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University for his B.S., Alex has a keen interest in molecular diagnostics, preclinical therapy discovery, and development in cardiac and musculoskeletal areas. He is the President & Chief Business Officer at Uh-Oh Labs and has previously held positions such as VP of R&D at Curi Bio and Co-founder & CEO at Silene Biotech (which was later acquired by Curi Bio). Alex is an alumnus of Techstars Seattle and YC W22. Beyond his professional pursuits, Alex enjoys supporting the Green Bay Packers as a fan and shareholder and is passionate about dogs and cats.
