Alex Hartline is a highly skilled social worker with a passionate commitment to improving the lives of underserved communities. With experience serving individuals from diverse backgrounds, Alex is dedicated to person-centered care that seeks to reverse the tide of marginalization that has plagued these populations. Alex has an MSW in Social Work from the City University of New York-Hunter College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Franklin & Marshall College.
As a Primary Therapist at The August Aichhorn Center and a former Social Worker at NY Foundation for Senior Citizens, Alex has worked extensively to offer support to individuals facing a range of mental health and social issues. Additionally, as a former Supported Employment & Education Specialist and Vocational Specialist at Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, Alex has expertise in helping vulnerable individuals acquire education and employment opportunities, empowering them to enhance their quality of life.
Alex Hartline is constantly seeking ways to combat oppression and prejudice through anti-oppressive care. Throughout Alex's career, these values have been fundamental to all their work, whether in residential care settings for youth, with older adults managing chronic illnesses, or with individuals navigating the onset of schizophrenia.
