Alex Chek is a seasoned IT professional with over 25 years of experience in roles such as Infrastructure Architect, Technical Lead, Technology Mentor, and Integration Specialist.

He is recognized as a leading expert in IBM software, particularly WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ, and WebSphere Message Broker (WMB and IIB) on z/OS and LUW, InfoSphere MDM, IIS, and DB2, in addition to various other IBM software products.

Alex has worked on subcontract assignments for IBM Global Services (GTS and GBS) and IBM WebSphere Lab Services, known as the top WebSphere services team within IBM.

With a strong track record as a Critsit SWAT consultant, he excels in troubleshooting and recovering troubled projects, often handling critical issues for projects valued at up to US$100 million each.

His expertise lies in end-to-end application and infrastructure problem-solving, performance optimization, HA and DR design, and implementing middleware solutions across diverse platforms like z/OS, AIX, i5, Suse, Redhat, Solaris, Windows servers, and VMWARE.

Alex holds multiple certifications including IBM certified WebSphere MQ specialist, IBM certified WebSphere Message Broker specialist, IBM certified DB2 Content Manager Solution Designer, IBM certified WebSphere Application Server specialist, Sun certified Solaris administrator, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Currently, he serves as the Principal Consultant at Cybervision Technology Inc and previously held a role in DB2 and imaging application support at IBM Global Services.
