Alex Chaves is a prominent business leader and philanthropist with extensive experience in parking management and supportive housing initiatives. He has been a Partner at Upward Housing since October 2017.15 Chaves is also the Chief Executive Officer of PCAM, LLC (Parking Company of America), a position he has held since January 1985.15 Under his leadership, PCAM has grown to become one of the largest privately held parking operators in the United States.2
Chaves is a co-founder of Upward Housing, an organization dedicated to creating turnkey housing facilities for at-risk homeless communities.34 He leverages his private capital and real estate expertise to support this initiative.3
In terms of education, Chaves attended Loyola Marymount University from 1981 to 1986, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management.1
