Alex Bores

Alex Bores is the Assemblymember for New York's 73rd District, which encompasses areas such as Murray Hill, Turtle Bay, Sutton Place, Midtown East, and the Upper East Side. He was elected to the Assembly in November 2022 and officially took office on January 1, 2023. A fifth-generation New Yorker, Bores was born and raised in the district he now represents.13

Education and Early Career

Bores attended local public schools, including P.S. 6, Wagner, and Hunter High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 2013 and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020.
