Alex Boakye is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in cyber analytics, software engineering, technology leadership, and bioinformatics.

Having studied at The Johns Hopkins University, Alex has held various key positions in reputable organizations, including SAS, RiVA IT Consulting Inc., ADG Creative, Booz Allen Hamilton, Commerce Corp, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Kennedy Krieger Institute, National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), and Bank of America.

Currently serving as the Vice President of Cyber at SAS, Alex has previously served as the Director of Cyber Analytics Research and Development, Director of Software Engineering for Cyber, and Chief Technology Officer at RiVA IT Consulting Inc.

Prior to his roles at RiVA IT Consulting Inc., Alex has also worked as a Director Of Software Engineering at ADG Creative, a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, a Senior Software Engineer at Commerce Corp, a Software Engineer at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, a Software Engineer at Kennedy Krieger Institute, and a Bioinformatics Engineer at National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI).
