Alex Barth

Alex Barth, an experienced technology risk manager, has a diverse background in computer science, management, and business development. After studying at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and Washington State University-College of Business, Barth gained extensive experience in risk management and business development while working at EY as a Risk Advisory Senior and Technology Risk Manager. Barth also worked as a Vice President of Automotive and Mobility and Vice President of Business Development at Mapbox, where he was responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives. Additionally, Barth has experience in software engineering, interactive art, and data management, having worked at organizations such as Development Seed and Time's Up. With a passion for open-source mapping and software, Barth has volunteered as a Director of OpenStreetMap US and developed custom maps and data visualizations for non-profits. Currently based in Vienna, Austria, Barth continues to maintain a strong presence in the tech community.
